Our refrigerator had a problem with water leaking into the freezer and freezing solid on the bottom of the freezer. Contacted them through Thumbtack in the morning. Within a very short period of time Vladimir called and scheduled us for the same afternoon. He arrived before the scheduled time, diagnosed the problem and made the repair. A very good experience.

How it works

  1. 1

    Call or text.

You'll talk to me, Vladimir — the same person who'll come and fix your refrigerator. No call center, no dispatcher. Prefer texting? Send a photo of the model sticker — it's usually inside the fridge, on a side wall or the ceiling.

    I come today.

Call before 2 PM for same-day service.

  3. 3

    You get the exact price.

Before any work starts. No obligation.

  4. 4

    Fixed on the spot.

85%+ of repairs are done on the first visit. You get a 180-day warranty and an electronic receipt.

If a part has to be ordered, you'll know the price first. Parts usually arrive in 1–3 days, and the return visit is free.

Before we get there

  • Keep the doors closed.

A closed fridge keeps food cold for about 4 hours. A full freezer holds about 48 hours, a half-full one about 24. When in doubt, throw it out.

  • Leaking?

Put towels down. If the fridge has a water line, close its valve.

  • Check the basics.

Make sure the temperature setting wasn't bumped and nothing blocks the vents inside.
